I have a compelling reason to give back to those who serve. My son, US Navy SEAL Chief Aaron Vaughn - SEAL Team VI , was killed in action on August 6, 2011 in the Tangi River Valley of Afghanistan when a chopper carrying 30 Americans into battle was shot down, killing all onboard. The tragedy will live in military history as the single largest one-day loss of life in the entire 20-year War On Terror and the single largest loss of life in the history of Naval Special Warfare.
Since that fateful day, our family has made it our mission to make sure that when a warrior returns home, they are treated with the dignity and care they deserve.
